III. Structure

This roughness instrument made up of mechanical and electrical parts. Electrical parts for wireless data acquisition devices and host controllers. 2 Electrical parts

Wireless data acquisition system NXP Industrial grade MCU 4 Liquid crystal display, completed milestones and displacement data sampling. Internal high-precision 24 -bit σ-δAD converters, displacement measurement precision. Wireless capture through a plug attached to the displacement sensor and distance sensors. Wireless data acquisition system using RF wireless communication with the host controller, operating frequency and works in ISM frequency band. IV. Instrument operation

1 Ready to work

a. Remove data collectors, as required, mount 4 Nanfu alkaline batteries, plug on the rack to the collector. Online collector antenna broke off, the antenna perpendicular to the collector display plane . The collector is placed on the rack.

b. Use rack to the measurement point starting point, loosen the locking bolt, pull the rack in place to measure State, locking bolt. Rack and tow bar and trailer connected. Put down the measuring wheel.

c. Power on the data acquisition, press the switch key, switch the display to the current offset value. Through 2 set screw to adjust the displacement sensor of high and low, to show values for 20±2mm.

d. Cleaning test pavement.

e. Screw the master antenna antenna plug in Panel positions, adsorption of the antenna inside the vehicle (or Panel) somewhere out there, as far as possible ensure that the antenna is high and open position.

2 Input parameters

Power on the primary controller, press the "menu" button, select "test parameters", enter a test number, test time, the road, the starting mileage, piles, limit value for the variance, direction and other parameters. Each input has been completed, press the " " key to save and automatically moves the input box down on a project. Input is complete, press the "Confirm Save" button, the "back" key to return to the measuring interface. Input error, you can press the " " key to delete.

3 ) Started testing

Tractor up one notch starting idling. When walking to the measuring point, press the "test" button, begin testing. 4 ) End of the test

        After the end of the test, remember to power off the wireless data acquisition system, unplug it, the collector into the main control box. If a long time after no, be sure to remove the batteries for wireless data acquisition, in case of battery leakage. Then, rack up, lock bolt, and to stop measuring wheel.

Note: data collector failures due to battery leakage is not covered under warranty; using alkaline batteries can better avoid battery leakage.

 

5 ) Data viewing and printing

        Press the "menu" button, select "data management" and enter historical data management pages. The page according to the classification of each test displays the test information for the group. All test information in accordance with the order. The same test number test, with continuous testing and storage location is retrieved, saved as a test. Select the corresponding test, you can read the details, or bulk print test results as a whole.

6 ) Memory management

        Press the "menu" button, select "memory management", you can view the current memory usage. 100m for a measurement range, the instrument can store 1000 measurement range test data, a total of 100Km. Select by pressing need to delete the memory cell area, click on the "bulk delete" key, you can delete the selected memory.

 

7 ) System settings

a. How to print ------ Automatic printing / Manual printing. When set to automatically print, every 100m of measurement, the printer will automatically output the test results. When set to manual when you print, the printer does not automatically print. Users can via the main menu in the "print" function of output current test results.

b. Print content ----- Streamlined content / Detailed content. When content is set to streamline, the printout for English characters, use symbols instead of the items, you can conserve paper. When setting up the details, the printout is Chinese for more content. This project is only valid for testing process automatically or manually printed, print operation for data management interface, this setting has no effect.

c. Formatting the memory ------ Press the key, enter format memory interface. This operation can quickly 1000 storage units were empty. Users to exercise caution.

d. Touch screen calibration ----- Press the key, enter the touch screen calibration interface. After entering the calibration interface, follow the instructions on the screen. 8 ) Offset calibration

     Before this instrument factory, have been found by the standard displacement gauge block calibration. But a year later, once again the calibration to ensure its accuracy. Displacement sensor calibration, calibration on the wireless data acquisition system requirements. Before calibration, remove the sensor, to be installed on a fixed support, guarantee the bottom vertical displacement sensor and bracket. Displacement sensor plug is inserted into the data collectors, and power on the data collector.

     Step 1. adjust the height of the displacement sensor, sensor 3 tick marks showed exactly the sensor coat.

     Step 2. press the data collector "switch" key for 5 seconds, enter the offset calibration status. Displacement sampling the original values and the calibration point "0" flashes back and forth between switches.

     Step 7. power down the instrument and power the system back on. Tap "switch", when the instantaneous displacement of the LCD displays the current absolute values, you can test the displacement value, does meet the standards required.

     When an operational error, and you can repeat the previous steps, overwrite error data will be overwritten.

 

IV. Instrument care and maintenance

1 ) Operational considerations

a. Transportation, steering, parking and other non-measuring State, measuring wheel suspension, to avoid unnecessary wear and tear and a collision, causing the sensor reduced life expectancy.

b. Test speed must be in 10km Or less. Bad road conditions, test speed should be slowed down, so as not to bump the rack too large affect measurement accuracy. As the instrument speed is lagging, when instruments detected speed is greater than 8Km/h Shi, instrument overspeed alarm will be issued. Short-distance transport, vehicle traction can be used, but must lock the rack, measuring wheels and suspension, traction speed is not greater than 25Km/h.

d. Do not use for a long time, you must remove the collection within the battery, battery leakage was substantially damaged capture circuit board. Failures due to battery leakage do not included in the reservation. Using high-energy alkaline cells could effectively prevent battery leakage. Recommended battery: nanfu shaped ring, Duracell MX1500, Duracell MN1500, Super GP 1, Energizer E91, double deer new century energies, Wan sheng MAXELL LR6 。 Please pay attention to the battery under voltage of the collector indicates battery indicator or the master controller, when the battery is low, replace the batteries immediay, low battery will cause measurement error.

f. Rack bearing, steering mechanism and other moving parts to each 6 Months raise a lubricant to prevent wear and rust. Before use to check whether the bolts fastening.

g. Wear can affect the measurement accuracy of the measuring wheel, instruments using more than 2 Years later, depending on wear replace measuring wheel. Standard measuring wheel diameter for 160mm. Rubber hardness HA(55-70).

h . When shorten communication distance (2-5M), or compley unable to communicate, may be the radio antenna is damaged, please check the antenna connector, is dropped.

 

2 ) Common failure and troubleshooting

a. Printer will not print. Open the main controller Panel, check the printer data cable and the power cord is loose.

b. Traffic is not reliable. Communication distance is too far, the host controller and wireless data acquisition device is within sight distance range, communications antennas for damage, broken.

c. Test results that were significantly large deviation, check whether the measuring wheel spring loose, transport wheels, rack has become loose. Displacement sensors need to be aligned, or the battery is low.

d. Lines, no change on the primary controller, deviations. Displacement sensor plug is loose.

e. Host controller panics. Emergencies outside interference, power back up.
